Merocaine dual action lozenges contain an antibacterial agent (Cetylpyridinium Chloride) designed to help kill germs in the mouth and throat and treat the symptoms of the infection. It also contains an anaesthetic agent (Benzocaine) to soothe the pain and discomfort of sore throats.
